United produced one of the finest campaigns in their history by winning both the Premier League and FA Cup. They finished eight points ahead of Blackburn Rovers before defeating Chelsea 4–0 in the FA Cup final, with Eric Cantona scoring twice and Mark Hughes and Brian McClair adding the other goals. Cantona’s influence was central to United’s success, while the midfield partnership of Roy Keane and Paul Ince helped the side control matches and maintain consistency. The team’s strength across the pitch made them difficult to stop, and they added another Charity Shield in 1994 by beating Blackburn Rovers 2–0, with Cantona scoring a penalty and Ince adding the second goal.

Hi, I’m Dale

I’m the person behind MadeByDale and this website. It’s a passion project, built by a fan, for fans who love the shirts as much as the football.

My goal

To make the most fun and immersive way to explore Manchester United’s shirt history, season by season: every shirt, the trophies won, the players who made the difference and the stories behind each campaign, all in one place.

Keeping it going

The site is free to explore. If you enjoy it, an optional donation helps me cover hosting and domain costs and gives me the time to keep it updated, add more seasons and expand on specific years with deeper stories, stats and shirt details. No pressure at all: sharing the site with another fan helps just as much.
