1997 - 1998 Manchester United home, away and third shirts

United finished second in the Premier League, one point behind champions Arsenal, after losing their advantage in the closing stages of the campaign. Arsenal’s 1–0 victory at Old Trafford, secured by Marc Overmars, proved crucial in the title race and helped them complete the league and FA Cup Double. Injuries and inconsistent results disrupted United’s momentum, and despite having a talented squad, they finished the season without a major trophy. The campaign was a frustrating setback for Ferguson’s side, but it also became a turning point: United strengthened ahead of the following season and went on to produce one of the greatest campaigns in the club’s history.
