2006 - 2007 Manchester United home, away and third shirts
The Title Returns to Old Trafford
United reclaimed the Premier League title after three seasons without winning it, finishing six points ahead of Chelsea. Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, scoring 17 league goals and developing into one of the most influential players in the country, while Wayne Rooney continued to thrive in attack. New signing Michael Carrick strengthened the midfield, and the team’s attacking football made them one of the standout sides in Europe. United also reached the FA Cup final but lost 1–0 to Chelsea after extra time, with Didier Drogba scoring the winner. The season marked the beginning of another successful period under Ferguson, and United went into the summer with the Premier League trophy back at Old Trafford. They then beat Chelsea on penalties in the 2007 Community Shield, after a 1–1 draw.
